GAIN KNOWLEDGE TO HELP OTHERS - SAVE MONEY!

LETTER FROM A STUDENT

"Jacque- I just wanted to thank you for teaching us such a great class last week... It came in handy today! My husband felt something pop in his back yesterday at work, but was not feeling to bad last night. Today, however, he could barely move...Extreme pain. He had hurt his back as a young adult, and the last time it went out it was very costly. Urgent Care, MRI's, months of Physical Therapy...

Today, with the information that I learned from the Level 2 Certification class, I was able to make a pain/therapy blend to help his severe back spasm and give him some relief. I prayed that I would know which oils to use...grabbed your class hand-out and made a blend.

I added some extra oils to the Chiro Care blend that you had given us and applied the oils to his back and feet and then used a warm compress. I also called my Dad and Uncle to give him a blessing! After a few applications he came, walking out! Not his usual gait, but he was upright and not grimacing in pain. By tonight he is remarkably better. I'm so thankful for your classes. Love you for sharing, even though it it sooo much work! Worth every penny I pay- C

We had an amazing all-day essential oils blending class at our beautiful new FreSpa location - 1206 E Warner Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85295! All who attended made Kyphi - an aromatic incense using Frankincense, Myrrh, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Ginger, nutmeg and Lavender - which was used for healing pains like rheumatism, as well as for emotional uplife and sleep.

We also learned beginning chemistry of plant medicine to help us make decisions as to which plants to use to accomplish the healing that we want to take place - by choosing chemical constituents that have the action that we desire. This helps us learn why Frankincense can cross the blood-brain barrier to create emotional uplift and correct depressive states. It also helps us understand why Frankincense can be used in cancer protocols to correct cells with improper DNA messages.

Join our next class BLENDING EUROPEAN STYLE - AND PROVENCE, FRANCE on Sept 19 (Saturday) 9am - 4 pm by emailing me at botanicaleducation@gmail.com You will make your own essential oils blends and salves and be empowered to take better care of yourself, your family and your loved ones.

ESSENTIAL OILS FOR COLDS, FLU, VIRUS, SHINGLES

One of my favorite essential oils is RAVENSARA!  It is gentle enough for babies and for the elderly (undiluted) and it the only oil that I know of that really does attack VIRUSES in a safe way.

Also, emotionally Ravensara is like a spiritual disinfectant - - working in the mind and memories to blast away negative emotions and responses.

You should know that most of the essential oils that are considered Ravensara are actually Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora), not Ravensara (Ravensara aromaticum).  Be aware of the differences.

Ravensara is one of the safest and most-needed essential oils; meaning that it can be used Neat (undiluted) for babies, the elderly, and the general population with no side effects.  Babies born in hospital environments are benefitted by putting one drop of Ravensara on each foot of newborns to protect them from hospital pathogens.

Ravensara is most widely known as an antiviral.  Most doctor visits for basic illness are diagnosed as viruses, and the doctor will tell you that he can’t help you “because it’s a virus”.  Since antibiotics don’t work on viruses the mainstream medical system is left without effective tools in treating patients with viruses.

Ravensara is particularly effective in handling some of the more miserable viruses – and is the first place to reach to resolve whooping cough or Shingles, as well as the Flu and any respiratory complication —especially when it is combined with Eucalyptus (Radiata).  When treating sinus infections, allergies, and even the common cold, Ravensara will make a noticeable and immediate impact for good.

HEALING BATH SALTS  (MAKE YOUR OWN)
Upon the first hints of a cold or flu (such as when knees feel weak or eyes are itchy and watery, etc) immediately:

Take one to two cups of Dead Sea Salt (with its high mineral content) or Epsom Salt (which is magnesium salt) and add into it:
6 drops of Ravensara, 6 drops of Eucalyptus radiata, and any other essential oils that you desire (Tea Tree, the Pine oils, Rosemary, Lavender, the Citrus oils, etc.).  Pour the salt containing the essential oils into hot bath water and bathe as long as you can handle being in the hot water.  Upon getting out of the bath gently dry off, put 3 drops Ravensara and 3 drops Eucalyptus onto the bottom of each foot and get into bed, with enough covers to create “sweating”.  In the morning you will be greatly improved.  This regimen will be negatively affected by poor choices of food (like sugar and junk) – as most viruses are “hosted” and not “caught” from our bad choices of poor eating and poor lifestyle.

Sinuses and Breathing:  A couple of drops of Ravensara can be put into 1 oz. water, with a pinch of sea salt, some Eucalyptus radiata and a drop of grapeseed oil.  Spray the blend into the nostrils to clear sinuses and breathing passages.  It is gentle and soothing, yet kills pathogens and allergens that create respiratory complications.

Shingles – Ravensara is highly effective in addressing shingles (which are viral and very painful in an adult), cold sores (also usually caused by emotional stress and are viral) as well as genital herpes.  A spray can be made for Shingles that includes viral-killing, pain-reducing and skin-healing essential oils.  Put into a 2 oz. spray bottle 50 drops Ravensara, 50 drops Eucalyptus r., 50 drops Lavender, 40 drops Peppermint, 20 drops Oregano and 20 drops Rosemary then fill the bottle with Grapeseed oil.  Spray liberally onto sore and painful areas of Shingles.

Cold Sores and Genital HerpesThe blend can be directly onto Cold Sores, or just use Ravensara diluted with Grapeseed oil.  For Genital Herpes use the blend without Peppermint and Oregano (as they will be painful).

BREEZY essential oil (a blend of Basil, Birch, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Peppermint and Ravensara) is amazing to help people with respiratory or lung weakness. It is only one of a powerhouse of tools that are available to correct asthmatic conditions and to reduce the prescription drug load on the human system.  It can be applied to the lung/chest region (for women, the back) to open up breathing.  Also apply to the pads of the feet - which is the lung area in Reflexology.

The EUCALYPTUS essential oils are best for respiratory situations.  They helps to open-up the lungs and bronchials ... and Eucalyptus radiata is gentle enough to apply across the bridge of the nose to open up the sinuses.  It is the essential oil that I would dare use to help an infant with breathing.

Which Eucalyptus should I choose?

Eucalyptus Globulus is the most commonly used Eucalyptus and has the strongest aroma. Eucalyptus Blue Mallee has a milder aroma and is very good when used in emotional release and energy work. It also seems to penetrate more deeply into the lungs and bronchial tubes. Eucalyptus Peppermint has less eucalyptol but more menthol than the other eucalyptus varieties. This makes it more calming and slightly less caustic on the skin. Eucalyptus Radiata is gentler and softer than globulus and is preferred by many for use in meditation and energy work. Eucalyptus Blue Gum is authentic Eucalyptus Globulus which means that it is the first distillation and has not been rectified. Most Eucalyptus oils are rectified (redistilled and mixed with other distillations) to get a cineole content of 80% or more. The first distillation of an oil is usually more therapeutic, but also more expensive. Eucalyptus Blue Gum has a softer, more complex aroma and is considered to be the most therapeutic of the Eucalyptus oils. The physical and emotional aspects of Lemon Eucalyptus oil are much the same as other varieties. The high citronellal content of this oil gives it an intense lemon scent. Eucalyptus Strawberry Gum has sweet, fruity undertones and is milder than the other eucalyptus varieties.

It is best to purchase essential oils that have been wild-crafted or organically grown in the best soil type in order to get the highest chemical constituents for healing.  Also, you want to purchase essential oils where the plants were harvested at the correct time of season and day for the constituents to be at their highest levels.  Another important factor is that the plants were distilled at zero percent pressure so that they are full-strength ... and that they were not exposed to oxygen or heat when they were transported.   You want to KNOW that one or two drops will produce a specific action and benefit so only use THERAPEUTIC GRADE essential oils from the companies that you know are reliable.

One company that I trust (and have known the owner for many years) that doesn't pay high commissions or build big expensive buildings - - or pay for big vacations ... is Butterfly Express.  You don't need a membership to buy from them, and their prices are the lowest for the best quality oils.  Go to www.butterflyexpress.net

WEEDS FOR FOOD - GOD PROVIDES them and we throw them away!

My garden has Purselane (Portulaca) growing between the tomatoes, chilies, and squash. In Mexico we call it Verdolagas (it can be purchased in Hispanic grocery stores).

People call it a weed and pull it (it has a short root system, tuberous pink stems, and little round, shiny leaves). What most people do not know is that Portulaca (Verdolagas) is an incredibly healthy food, loaded with essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.

I learned to cook and use it with the following recipe:

     1 Tablespoon olive oil
     1 chopped onion
1 clove pressed garlic (saute together)
1 can Pinto Beans (cooked (I can my own in quart jars),
Handfuls of leaves of the portulaca plant.

It is a complete meal containing protein, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids.
I'm grateful to a loving Father in Heaven who provides for us (even when we don't that we are being provided for!
