HAPPY VALENTINES!
February is HEART month and LOVE month!
Because of the SAD (Standard American Diet) many people struggle with
HEART DISEASE
ravaging their circulatory systems with inflammation, clogged veins and arteries, high blood pressure, low sexual function and risk of early death. This February you can start by LOVING YOURSELF and LOVING THE GIFT OF LIFE so that you can LOVE OTHERS and be there for them!
A PLANT BASED DIET is essential to a healthy heart. That means you choose REAL foods - foods that grow on the ground, under the ground, on trees, on bushes ... greens, reds, purples, oranges, nuts, grains (unrefined), beans, legumes, oils (olive, grapeseed, etc) and spices. You can also add some eggs, a little cheese, a little milk, a little fish and chicken and even some dark chocolate (bromo cacao).
What you don't want are: Fried foods (french fries, potato chips or deep-fried anything), hamburgers, steak, sugar, candy, bakery goods, ice cream, processed and packaged snacks.
To
UNDO HEART DAMAGE

- 3 Tbsps. of organic raw apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (or 2 capsules cayenne).
To make your own (yummy!)
Hawthorn Berry Syrup
100 gms Hawthorn berries
18 Rosehips
1 Lemon sliced
4 inches of fresh Ginger sliced
1
stick of Cinnamon
2 ½ pints distilled Water
2 ½ pints distilled Water
200
gms Honey (or pure vegetable Glycerin)
Put the
first 6 ingredients into a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer (do not boil) for 30 minutes, mashing
the berries every now and then. Give it one final mashing before straining
through a sanitary cloth or layers of muslin cloth, sitting on a sieve over another pan with the honey/Vegetable glycerin in it - - making sure to squeeze all the liquid out. Put back onto heat and simmer 10-15 minutes to
dissolve the Honey/Vegetable Glycerin and thicken slightly. Pour into sterilized
bottles and label and date them. Keep stored in the fridge and use within 6
months. Take 2 tablespoons 3 times a
day as a standard amount for a healthy heart.
Hawthorn has
long been known to help with overall heart health, and also helps with anxiety,
blood pressure and much more. Along with the Rosehips, which are full of
vitamin C and good for joint stiffness, ginger which is excellent for the
digestion and circulation, lemon which is an immune booster and cinnamon which helps regulate blood
sugar and reduce cholesterol.
DON'T STOP THERE - -
The heart is a MUSCLE - - and it requires EXERCISE to help it be strong. Remember, the heart requires GOOD NUTRITION with plenty of minerals like CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM and POTASSIUM, as minerals are the electrical components that help the heart to beat. So love yourself! Love your life!
